Renting a car

4. Safety
Travelers are advised to take extra care with their belongings as there have been an increasing number of incidents of vehicle windows being broken and items being stolen in Guam. There have also been cases of robbery.
In hotels and guesthouses, there have been cases of people breaking in through terrace windows and stealing items. When you go out or go to sleep, be sure to check the security of your windows and locks.
5. Climate
The average high temperature is around 30°C and the average low temperature is in the mid-20s. Like most tropical climates, the year is divided into two seasons. The dry season runs from December through June.The rainy season runs from July through November.Humidity is high and generally averages around 80-82%.
Hurricane season is October through November, and Guam averages three tropical storms and one typhoon per year.

7. Travel precautions
Road conditions in Litidian Beach are poor and vehicle tire damage is a concern. Use caution when driving and be extra careful on unstable roads.
Tumon Bay beach appears to have calm waves, but depending on the location and time of day, the current can suddenly become stronger. Be aware that you may be swept away by the current.
Smoking is prohibited in Guam in hotels and restaurants, public indoor facilities, and vehicles. Violators will be fined between $100 and $500.
8. Etiquette & Service Tip
The indigenous Chamorro people are the first to greet you wherever you go, and they are always happy to show you where to go, even if you don’t speak their language.
Despite their tropical laid-backness and gentleness, the Chamorros have a strict moral code, and if a tourist touches a Chamorro woman, it is considered assault, and the police will be called and the punishment severe.
