If you don’t wander around at night and stick to touristy areas, security is better than you might think, but there is a high rate of petty crime such as pickpocketing and shoplifting.
Pickpocketing is the number one problem in the world, and if you let your guard down for a moment, you could be robbed. Don’t leave valuables in plain sight in public This one is pretty obvious, but if you leave it on a table in a restaurant or cafe, just take it.

7. Travel precautions
Watch out for gypsies and pickpockets. Be aware that gypsies often approach you with flowers or words that catch you off guard. Don’t leave your luggage with anyone unless you’re willing to abandon it.
Toilets are mostly paid for, but may be free in public buildings or large department stores. It’s a good idea to bring coins in case you need to use a paid toilet.
8. Etiquette & Service Tip
Don’t put your finger to your chin. It’s a sign that you’re annoying the other person.
Water in restaurants is not free, so it’s not polite to drink a drink you bought outside just because it’s cheap.
Be aware that it’s not polite to wear short pants or sleeveless clothes in some tourist attractions. Revealing clothing is not appropriate when visiting a cathedral.
When entering a shop, it’s polite to purchase items.
Tip.
